Overview

Tags are flexible labels you can assign to products to organize, group, and filter them.

Unlike categories, tags are non-hierarchical and can represent campaigns, seasons, product traits, or any custom classification.

Tags sync automatically with Shopify and can be used for automated collections, filtering, and workflow automation.

💡 Why Tags Matter

Tags provide a flexible, multi-dimensional way to classify products without the constraints of hierarchical categories.

Effective tagging improves:

  • 🔍 Product discoverability through filtering and search
  • 🛍️ Campaign and seasonal merchandising agility
  • ⚙️ Automated collection creation based on dynamic criteria
  • 🤝 Cross-functional workflows in Shopify Flow
  • 📊 Data analysis and reporting by product attributes

Tags sync instantly with Shopify, enabling real-time updates across your storefront and backend systems.
